What It Could Have Been

from Staring At The Moon by Last Survivor

about

Mick McCallion and Decky Hedrock return as Last Survivor with double AA-sided "space-tactular" single, after their debut EP stormed straight into the Irish iTunes Album Chart at No.18 on the week of release back in Oct last year!

Now, returning with the title track "Staring At The Moon", which is a beautiful space ballad featuring the amazing vocal talents of Dave Beattie from Novablood. Singing a heartfelt and emotionally written song about a loss which is quite beautiful.

On the flip, there is the up-tempo party monster "What It Could Have Been" featuring Mark Baker. Mark (also from the group Novablood) was the guest vocalist on Last Survivors debut release "Waste Away", which received a hail of stellar reviews and radio plays upon release. Mark was asked back to lend his talents on this Daft Punk meets Duran Duran 80s inspired stomper.

“They’re shimmeringly futuristic but with a real retro flavour, all smooth beats, squidgy synth basslines and deliciously catchy hooks. It’s the future we imagined in the 1980s (bang on the money as it turns out) and feels new and exciting with just enough nostalgia to offer comfort” - Daily Mirror
